The Deployment Guidelines pursue the goal of applying the legally binding Delegated Regulations to the specific ITS services. Static data related to the parking areas, including (where applicable)\n<ul>\n<li>Identification information of parking area (name and address of the truck parking area (limited to 200 characters))<\/li>\n<li>Location information of the entry point in the parking area (latitude\/longitude) (20 + 20 characters)<\/li>\n<li>Primary road identifier1\/direction (20 characters\/20 characters), and Primary road identifier2\/direction (20 characters\/20 characters) if same parking accessible from two different roads<\/li>\n<li>If needed, the indication of the Exit to be taken (limited to 100 characters)\/Distance from primary road (integer 3) km or miles<\/li>\n<li>Total number of free parking places for trucks (integer 3)<\/li>\n<li>Price and currency of parking places (300 characters)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>2. Information on safety and equipment of the parking area\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Description of security, safety and service equipment of the parking including national classification if one is applied (500 characters)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Number of parking places for refrigerated goods vehicles (numerical 4 digits)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Information on specific equipment or services for specific goods vehicles and other (300 characters)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">Contact information of the parking operator:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Name and surname (up to 100 characters)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Telephone number (up to 20 characters)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0E-mail address (up to 50 characters)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Consent of the operator to make his contact information public (Yes\/No)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>3. Dynamic data on availability of parking places including whether a parking is: full, closed or number of free places which are available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/ALL\/?uri=celex:32013R0886\"><b>The provision, where possible, of road safety-related minimum universal traffic information free of charge to users ((EU) 2013\/886)<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The Delegated Regulation No 886\/2013 classifies &#8222;Safety-Related Traffic Information&#8220; as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>(a) temporary slippery road<\/li>\n<li>(b) animal, people, obstacles, debris on the road<\/li>\n<li>(c) unprotected accident area<\/li>\n<li>(d) short-term road works<\/li>\n<li>(e) reduced visibility<\/li>\n<li>(f) wrong-way driver<\/li>\n<li>(g) unmanaged blockage of a road<\/li>\n<li>(h) exceptional weather conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Two additional Delegated Regulations were adopted in 2015 and 2017 respectively:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/DE\/ALL\/?uri=CELEX%3A32015R0962\">The provision of EU-wide real-time traffic information services ((EU) 2015\/962)<\/a>;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The Delegated Regulation No 2105\/962 classifies &#8222;Real-Time Traffic Information&#8220; as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>(a) road closures<\/li>\n<li>(b) lane closures<\/li>\n<li>(c) bridge closures<\/li>\n<li>(d) overtaking bans on heavy goods vehicles<\/li>\n<li>(e) roadworks<\/li>\n<li>(f) accidents and incidents<\/li>\n<li>(g) dynamic speed limits<\/li>\n<li>(h) direction of travel on reversible lanes<\/li>\n<li>(i) poor road conditions<\/li>\n<li>(j) temporary traffic management measures<\/li>\n<li>(k) variable road user charges and available payment methods<\/li>\n<li>(l) availability of parking places<\/li>\n<li>(m) availability of delivery areas<\/li>\n<li>(n) cost of parking<\/li>\n<li>(o) availability of charging points for electric vehicles<\/li>\n<li>(p) weather conditions affecting road surface and visibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Those short-term data need not to be included in digital map updates as they shall not be considered as changes of a permanent nature.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The types of the traffic data include in particular:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>(a)\u00a0 traffic volume<\/li>\n<li>(b)\u00a0 speed<\/li>\n<li>(c)\u00a0 location and length of traffic queues<\/li>\n<li>(d)\u00a0 travel times<\/li>\n<li>(e)\u00a0 waiting time at border crossings to non-EU Member States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/eli\/reg_del\/2017\/1926\/oj\"><strong>the provision of EU-wide multimodal travel information services ((EU) 2017\/1926).<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The Delegated Regulation No 2105\/962 classifies &#8222;Types of multimodal dynamic travel and traffic data&#8220; as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Level of service 1\n<ul>\n<li>Passing times, trip plans and auxiliary information:\n<ul>\n<li>(i)\u00a0 Disruptions (all modes)<\/li>\n<li>(ii)\u00a0 Real-time status information \u2014 delays, cancellations, guaranteed connections monitoring (all modes)<\/li>\n<li>(iii)\u00a0 Status of access node features (including dynamic platform information, operational lifts\/escalators, closed entrances and exit locations \u2014 all scheduled modes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Level of service 2\n<ul>\n<li>(a)\u00a0 Passing times, trip plans and auxiliary information (all modes):\n<ul>\n<li>(i)\u00a0 Estimated departure and arrival times of services<\/li>\n<li>(ii)\u00a0 Current road link travel times<\/li>\n<li>(iii)\u00a0 Cycling network closures\/diversions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>(b)\u00a0 Information service:\n<ul>\n<li>Availability of publicly accessible charging stations for electric vehicles and refuelling points for CNG\/LNG, hydrogen, petrol and diesel powered vehicles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>(c)\u00a0 Availability check:\n<ul>\n<li>(i)\u00a0 Car-sharing availability, bike sharing availability<\/li>\n<li>(ii)\u00a0 Car parking spaces available (on and off-street), parking tariffs, road toll tariffs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Level of service 3\n<ul>\n<li>Trip plans:<\/li>\n<li>Future predicted road link travel times<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Preliminary Remark &#8222;The Deployment Guidelines are subordinated to the Delegated Regulations.
